My name is Dylan Budd, and I am a sophomore at Ball State University studying Sports Media Production through the Sports Link program. Thanks to the hard work of my peers and me, our program is recognized as the best in the country by the BEA. During my time here, I've gained extensive experience in my specialty, on-air talent, but also photography, videography, journalism, feature storytelling, and live production. I am a driven and diligent student and worker, and I am confident that I would be a valuable asset to your team. Thank you for your consideration.
Since April, I've had the chance to get significant reps at play-by-play and sideline for Ball State athletics, including several opportunities on ESPN: here's my best work so far
I took some of my best shots from this past summer on to make my first demo reel. More opportunities to follow, but here's my best work so far:
Episode Producer; we see a cinematic recap of Ball State's home opener against New Hampshire, a moment of practice with Coach Nick Fiacable, a film session with linebacker Alfred Chea, and an introduction to defensive end Nathan Voorhis before the Cardinals fly to UCONN in Week 3.
Producer, Editor, Videographer: Ball State first basemen Kaitlyn Gibson dons three bows in her hair, each with a different meaning and color.
Episode Producer: The Cardinals suffered an ugly loss against Northern Illinois. After the cinematic recap, we check in with linebacker Jack Beebe and preview Midweek MACtion against Kent State.
